When should I book the session?

The cake smash session needs to be booked at least 2-3 months in advance. During our discussion, we’ll determine the background and color you’d like for your baby. I’ll need time to prepare the props, while parents will need time to prepare outfits and a cake that match the background color theme.

What should I bring with me to the session?

You just need to bring baby’s outfits, cake and bathing towel.

What is the customized cake smash session?

This session is designed to align with the parents’ preferences. Whether it’s the background, color, or theme you have in mind, I’ll bring your vision to life.

When is the best time for the cake smash session?

Typically, the cake smash session is taken around the 11th month, when the baby hasn’t begun walking. If you’d like to receive the photos before the birthday, please be mindful that the editing turnaround time for the cake smash session is usually 3-4 weeks after the final selection.

Are we able to purchase more photos?

You’ll receive the exact number of photos included in the package you have booked. If you’d like additional photos, you have the option to purchase extra images from the selection link. Raw images aren’t provided as they’re all copyright protected. Clients often choose to add additional images. Each additional digital image is priced at $20+taxes, professionally retouched, and delivered in high resolution.

What if I don’t like the editing style? Can I get the raw images as well?

I highly recommend reviewing my portfolio before booking to ensure my photography and editing style match your expectations. All images on my website and social media reflect my consistent style and the final quality you can expect. Clients book with me because they love my style and editing. Raw images are not provided, as they are protected by copyright and do not represent the finished work or artistic standard of my brand. When can I receive my gallery?

After the session, I’ll send you the selection link within 3 days. Once you’ve selected the package photos, I’ll start editing. The standard turnaround time is 3-4 weeks. However, during busy seasons like fall and Christmas, it may extend to around 4-6 weeks. If you’d like to receive the gallery within one week, I can prioritize your edits for an additional rush fee of $300.
